How do I access my files from my computer?
This server is very flexible, on Windows computer you can use
the built in Network functions of windows, a small client
program that will map a windows drive letter your your network
storage or the web based file management system that works on
any computer that has a browser like FireFox or IE.
On Macs you can use the browser or simply
mount the network share using the built in tools that come
with OSX.
How Do I Share My Files?
You have 3 options here.
You can setup new network drives that your users you provide a
name and password to to access their personal folders with
full control (read, write, remove)
The other option is to allow user that you
provide a username and password to to access files
read-only. They can get the files but will not be able
to modify or upload new files.
The third option is to allow anyone with
your address to access files in your public folder. No
user name or password will be needed to access these files.
Are there any limits on space or bandwidth ?
No you can use the space you need to store your files, you cannot sell, rent or give your space to others for any reason and you cannot use so much bandwidth as to cause the system to be slow or unreachable for others.
Can I Use This For My Business?
Yes, we don't put limitations as to what you are using your space for. You may use it as you see fit.
Can I Upload html Pages In My Public Folder?
Yes, you can create Gallery Pages or indexes or you can use the default indexes the servers gives you.
Do I need any special Knowledge to use this service.
No, if you are able to open, copy, paste, and save files on
your computer you can use this service without problem..
What are the system requirements?
Because we use Internet standards you can use any computer
that has an Internet connection including Windows, Mac, Linux,
FreeBSD, Solaris and many more.
Are My Files Safe?
Our servers are located in an ulta-secure data center below ground that was build to withstand just about anything nature or man to dish out. As with any data source no matter how secure, you need to keep another copy of the files that are stored on any online storage service if that data cannot be replaced should something happen to it.
